In response to the current lockdown in Shanghai, some companies are operating in “closed-loop” systems to ensure businesses can keep operations running. Closed loops put factory workers in bubbles, based on the same procedure used during the winter Olympics to prevent COVID spread. This procedure – for example – has been reportedly used inside the Shanghai Port area to maintain stable operations despite the spread of the pandemic.
Italian companies around the Shanghai area and in other parts of China are seemingly preparing to temporarily operate according to this closed-off management to curb the effects of lockdown(s) on productivity.
During this session, we invited companies to share their experiences regarding the operation of closed-loop factory systems to our Members.
