Members and Italian System Meeting, Chongqing Jurisdiction - Post Event

Dear Members and Friends of CICC,

On the afternoon of October 15th, at the General Consulate of Italy in Chongqing, was held the first meeting of the Members of CICC and of Italian System of Chongqing District.

Consul General Sergio Maffettone, Honourable Lia Quartapelle Procopio and Dr. Ugo Papi were present at the event.

The Meeting gathered the representatives of Italian companies operating in various sectors, between the Districts of Chongqing and Chengdu. The purpose of the meeting was to compare and to take on the contents about the penetration of foreign companies into the Chinese market and the related complexity of the territorial reality. 

The meeting started with a brief introduction by the Consul, after a presentation of the activities and projects by the CICC representatives; followed by speeches of representatives of various Italian business realities, including the testimony of Mr. Daxing Gong, the first entrepreneur of Chongqing who took over the Italian company SWM Motorcycles Ltd.

The meeting was an opportunity of discussion and creates synergies among Italian companies in this area, illustrating the potential of a growing Italian representation in order to better plan, for the future, the promotion of Italian companies in this district.
