On October 22nd HIT WEEK www.hitweek.it, the world's most important festival dedicated to contemporary Italian culture and music will land in Shanghai with Max Gazzè, who will perform at QSW Culture Centre staging his new album MAXIMILIAN -published on October 30th 2015 and already awarded with the Disco D’Oro prize-, and a repertoire collecting 20 years of success.
After the success of his previous album SOTTO CASA (2013), and the extraordinary discographic experience and success of the European and Italian tours with the album IL PADRONE DELLA FESTA (2014), produced with Niccolò Fabi and Daniele Silvestri, Max Gazzè returns on the scene as a soloist with the album ‘MAXIMILIAN’, accomplishing a new success. The tune “La vita com’è” reached 23 million views on YouTube (one of the most played tunes of 2015), and the new LP grants him a year of “sold outs”.
The Chinese stop of the tour takes place during an exceptional year. After having performed in the biggest Italian and European cities, Max Gazzè is one of the protagonists of the 2016 edition of Hit Week, which will bring him to China, Canada, US and Japan. The tour will culminate with two event-concerts on October 27th at Palalottomatica in Rome and on October 29th at Mediolanum Forum in Milan.
The year 2016 also marks the 20th anniversary of the publication of his first album ‘CONTRO UN’ONDA DEL MARE’, with which Max showed up on the Italian scene, emerging for his strong irony, the attention for composition and the never missing attention to introspection.
“I like to send a message through my songs, and irony can be an instrument to deliver that message”. Said the roman artist in a recent interview. And it is with a great enthusiasm that the artist lands in China bringing a repertoire of famous masterpieces.
The tour Hit Week 2016 and Max Gazzè’s show in Shanghai are produced by Music Experience Roma S.r.l with the organizational support of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce.
Partner of the festival is FIMI, Federazione Industria Musica Italiana.
