Shanghai Free Trade Zone: Administrative Regulation for comments

Dear Members,

The Shanghai Municipal People’s Congress published a Call for Comments notice on the - China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone administration regulation (draft).

Please see the full regulation draft and the explanation in Chinese on the SHPC’s website.

The Shanghai FTZ Administration Committee and the Shanghai Municipal People’s Congress will pay special attention to comments focusing on the following points:

1. How to further achieve a more efficient and convenient supervision system?

2. How to maintain fair market competition, further enhancing the protection of investor’s rights, intellectual property rights, environment and labour rights?

3. How to achieve a more transparent government and regulate government power?

4. How to protect the public involvement in the SHFTZ, and lead the public to express their needs and concerns in a more reasonable and rational way?
