Objectives

The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) is one of the most ambitious and relevant projects in both economic and political terms. BRI focuses on the creation of vast economic areas constituted by more than 140 countries and regions that are geographically placed on two main corridors.

The course aims at explaining the rising importance of strategic partnerships in projects framed under the umbrella of the BRI. The lectures will focus on FDI and economic trends between China and Belt Road countries, with specific details on Central Asia and Africa.
