Post event - “Hiring and Recruitment: Methodology and Issues” & Shenzhen Networking Cocktail - May 14th, 2021

Dear Members and Friends,

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is pleased to inform you that the Seminar "Hiring and Recruitment: Methodology and Issues" was held on May 14th, 2021, in Shenzhen.

CICC would like to give our special thanks to Global Law Office for the speakers and the venue in support of the Seminar.​

The Seminar, which gathered more than 20 participants, was aimed at giving an overview on Hiring and Recruitment and procedures for hiring in order to avoid disputes.


The speakers discussed the following topics:

• Labour contract signing

• Employee handbook

• Fault-Based termination of unilateral termination by the employer

• Non-Fault-Based termination of unilateral termination by the employer

• Downsize of unilateral termination of Employment contract by the employer

• Employment contract termination and economic compensation

• Typical cases of labour disputes


After the speakers' presentation, the Q&A session helped the participants to deepen their knowledge on the various topics.

The Seminar was followed by the CICC Networking Cocktail at OGGI pizzeria.

We are very pleased to have received the Consul General of Italy in Guangzhou Ms Lucia Pasqualini, Deputy Consul General Mr Giorgio Daviddi, CICC Chairman Mr Paolo Bazzoni, CICC Vice Chairman (Guangzhou) Mr Massimiliano Guelfo and CICC Board member Mr Raphael Paul Cooper as guests.




We also thank the Italian Designers Association IDA for the amazing presentation about Design in Shenzhen.
