POST EVENT: CICC Breakfast Seminar: "The Social Credit System" – December 6th 2019, Shanghai

Dear Members and Friends,

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC), in cooperation with the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China (EUCCC), is glad to announce that the Breakfast Seminar focused on “The Social Credit System” was successfully held on December 6th, 2019 in Shanghai.

 

   

 

The Seminar started with the introduction of the event made by Valtero Canepa, CICC Vice Chairman, who afterwards introduced the speakers invited on the occasion of the Seminar.

 

 

Mr. Carlo Diego D’Andrea, Vice President of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China and Shanghai Chapter Chairman, offered an overview on “How China’s Corporate Social Credit System Conditions Market Actors”, mentioning the process that the International companies in China undergo before entering the Chinese Market and the intensification of the regulatory system.

 

 

Afterwards, Mrs. Sara Marchetta, Chiomenti Partner, followed up by focusing on “The Chinese reporting system for FDI and the Social Credit System: state-of-the-art and future” providing information related to the enterprises registered in China, foreign shareholding, tax bureaus and FIIRS report.

 

 

Mrs. Daniela Xui Hui, Senior Associate at Pirola Pennuto Zei&Associati intervened on “How Chinese Social Credit System (SCS) impact doing business in China” providing practical aspects and impacts overview. The Tax Credit System has been also a special focus with the related sanctions discussion together with the SMAR Credit System.

 

 

All participants actively took part in the Q&A session showing strong interest in the topics developed and receiving accurate answers from the speakers.
