Salary Survey 2015

Dear Members and friends,
 

Thank you for joining us for the first “Salary Survey Project”. The results of the Survey have been presented during the event held on March 27th at the Xi`an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) by Roberto Donà, Professor at International Business School Suzhou (IBSS).

The “Salary Survey Project” has been organized with the support of the Suzhou Working Group and, given the encouraging results, it will be scheduled for a second edition. For the next survey we will seek to involve a higher number of companies from the Suzhou’s surrounding areas in order to give a more accurate overview of the salary level for the most sought after positions, as well as a deeper understanding of the current market situation.
 

As Professor Donà said during the event “This survey is an important benchmarking tool for the companies. We aim at transforming the survey in a monitoring instrument, which will produce this report on a yearly basis. From a data analysis standpoint, we can see that, together with a growth in salaries, there is shift toward more carefully managed HR policies. From a business point perspective, a higher personnel cost implies the need of a higher level of professionalism in managing people”.
