The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is glad to let you know that the Launch Meeting of CICC Energy and Environmental Protection Working Group (EEPWG) was held on September 9th 2021 in Shanghai, gathering over 30 representatives of the Sino-Italian business community in the field.
The informal meeting was the occasion for discussing the main objectives for the group and presenting the activities plan for the next quarter of 2021 under the new leadership. Key issues such as Circular Economy and Energy Mobility are among the discussed areas of focus.
The participants shared suggestions and insights during the group discussion led by the Newly Elected Coordinator, Mr Luigi Minervini, Ansaldo Shanghai, and Vice-Coordinator, Mr Marco Camertoni, Loccioni China, defining the direction of the group action. The event was also an occasion to network with companies in the field during the networking session in which closed the session.
Energy and Environmental protection are crucial issues on the global stage, this first meeting set the direction for an increasing coordinated action of our companies in the field.

EEPWG welcomes all Italian companies, entities, and individuals operating within the energy and environmental protection industrial sectors along the relative value chains (upstream, downstream, fossil energy, renewable energy, distribution, consumption, emission/water/waste/soil treatment, energy saving, etc.).
EEPWG is an initiative supported by the Embassy of Italy to the PRC and China-Italy Chamber of Commerce. EEPWG aims at representing the active coordination structure of the “Pacchetto Energia/Ambiente” developed by the Embassy of Italy in 2014 and subject to many inter-governmental agreements.
