Dear Members and Friends,
The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is pleased to inform that the China-Italy Weekend will be held from June 5th till June 11th, in Shanghai Lujiazui Harbour City Exhibition Centre, Pudong. The event is co-organized with the Shanghai-based artist Simon Ma, with the support of the Consulate General of Italy in Shanghai.
The Italian Weekend will bring the best of ITALIAN QUALITY to Shanghai. It aims to offer to a Chinese and international audience an all-Italian experience, a journey through the excellence for which Italy enjoys a world record.
Participants will have a full immersion in the Italian culture of quality without ever needing to leave China.
The event opens with a car parade that will involve important brands that are members of our Chamber: Ferrari, Maserati, Vespa and Alfa Romeo. Iveco and Piaggio will also be present.
In the afternoon there is the opening ceremony, while in the evening the public will have the opportunity to attend a Fashion Show by Istituto Marangoni.
Moreover, during the China-Italy Weekend, it is also possible to witness the opening of the Simon Ma exhibition: Drago Cavallo, which represents a bridge between the Chinese and the Italian Culture. Simon Ma is an Hong Kong-born, Shanghai-based artist and designer.
