Dear Members, dear Friends of CICC, The China - Italy Chamber of Commerce is glad to invite all the Members and Friends of CICC to the 2nd Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade (referred to as “WCIFIT”) scheduled to be held at Chongqing International Expo Center on May 16th to 19th, 2019 Co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Water Resources, State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Chongqing Municipal People's Government. The WCIFIT is a global-oriented international fair established in western China and serves the whole nation. It has become an important platform for domestic regional economic cooperation and international economy and trade exchange and has been highly recognized and fully affirmed by all parties including domestic and foreign merchants. The 2nd WCIFIT will focus on marketing the competitive industries and investment climate of countries along “The Belt and Road” and brother provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities; exhibiting advanced technology, products and equipment of multinational corporations, central enterprises, state-owned enterprises, and well-known private enterprises; and further promoting the communication and cooperation between different regions, various levels, and diverse industries. Bank of China and Chongqing Municipal People's Government will jointly host the “2019 China (West) 'Belt and Road Initiative' Cross-border Investment & Trade Matchmaking Event”. It is an important activity of the 2nd edition of WCIFIT, aiming to promote investment and trade cooperation between the industrial and commercial enterprises in Chongqing and the enterprises in countries and regions along the BRI. The Industry involves information technology, biomedicine, high-end manufacturing, artificial intelligence and so on. It has helped enterprises successfully achieve a series of business cooperation in trade, investment and technology introduction. They are inviting enterprises from countries and regions along the “Belt and Road” to conduct one-on-one business negotiations with enterprises from Chongqing and Western China through precisely industry matching (4 rounds of B2B with local companies selected by Bank of China).   Dear Members and Friends of CICC, The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce is pleased to invite you to the Seminar "Invest in Italy along The Belt Road Initiative” that will take place on 22nd of May 2019 at 3.00 pm - 5,30 pm in CICC Office Branch Chongqing . CICC is looking for speakers with experience and/or academic background in the field related to the topic of discussion. China and Italy have intensified their relations in all fields,  building an even stronger partnership that is founded on a new approach to the concept of mutual respect. The two countries have been playing a highly positive role in multilateral organizations and with the MoU on BRI, they will further cooperate together to advance global stability as well as uphold multilateralism and free trade.   Evaluation Criteria The selection of the speaker will be made according to the content relevant to the seminar and/or for the topics proposed. CICC will give priority to its Members and will select the first submitted proposal that will meet the standards indicated. If no applications are submitted by its Members, CICC has the right to select the most appropriate application submitted by one of the non-member companies, giving priority to the “partners” of the Chamber first.   The Speaker shall be excluded from the tendering: In case of non-conformity with the hereby open call for speakers; In case of submitting false data; Late submission.   Please note, the speaker shall not promote personal material throughout the course of the seminar.
