             Dear Members and Friends of CICC,   In China, recruiting and retaining the best talents is certainly high on the agenda of many business executives and Human Resources leaders. Although some recent market data has shown that the “war for talent” is easing off slightly, attracting the best talents and keeping them is still critical to sustainable business growth. Much research has been done, attempting to identify the magic solutions. However, these issues are still keeping many business leaders awake at night. In this presentation, Kin and Florian from Ward Howell International, a global leadership solutions provider, will share with you their extensive practical experience in providing leadership solutions to leading companies across Asia.   Speakers:    - Mr. Florian Feche: Florian worked with medical and emergency teams in both Asia (Cambodia , Laos , Vietnam China ) Africa (Ethiopia , Gabon , Congo , Rwanda , Chad , Morocco , Ivory Coast , Kenya) and East Europe (Belarus, Russia) for “Pharmaciens Sans Frontieres” H.Q. and was in charge of partnership, commercial and public relation with governments , public sectors, armed forces and international institutions like the U.N. He then created in Shanghai the branch of Helma International, the leading European firm specialized in international mobility and immigration. As China Director, he managed and developed the office, and developed expertise in H.R., immigration, compensation and benefits and cross-cultural management. Florian is also Vice-President of U.F.E. (Union of French overseas) in Shanghai and leads career management and recruitment in this association. Florian thus has expertise in strategic recruitment (deep investigation and selection), people mobility, strategies and organization. He now offers tailor made recruitment solutions to his clients in executive search and selection for high tech, aerospace, life sciences and manufacturing industries. Florian regularly gives lectures in several prestigious business and engineering schools and institutions in China. Florian speaks English, French and Mandarin. Florian has practiced Martial Arts for decades and enjoys tribal arts collection and psychology.   - Mr. Kin Chong U Kin is the Managing Director of WHMCA, bringing with him 20 years of experience in talent management and development. Prior to joining WHMCA, Kin was the Director, Organisational and Leadership Development at KPMG China, where he was responsible for designing and implementing various strategic people programs and organisational development initiatives to enhance the performance and engagement levels of the KPMG talents across China and support the Firm in achieving its growth vision. Before moving to an in-house role at KPMG, Kin was the General Manager for SHL China and Taiwan where he managed the consulting and assessment solutions business across the Greater China region. During his consulting career, he worked with a number of leading organizations across various industries in Asia-Pacific to implement cutting edge talent management and development practices including HSBC, Bank of China, UBS, BP, Nokia, Uniliver, Colgate, Caltex, Henkel, BMW, L’Oreal, TSMC, Deloitte, etc. In terms of professional qualifications, he is an Associate Fellow and a Registered Psychologist of the Hong Kong Psychological Society, and served as the Chairman of the Division of Industrial-Organisational Psychology from 2010 to 2012. He is also an International Affiliate of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology under the American Psychological Association. Kin is certified to use a number of leading psychometric assessment tools and is a trained coach. He also serves on many HR advisory boards and is a frequent speaker at public forums.
