The second session of the "Young Professional Talks” was held on Friday 25th 2022 both online and offline in Shanghai.
About 20 participants met three industry experts and got a glimpse into stories and careers in the world of Fashion Business and Design Management.
Mr Niklas Olsson, who is in charge of developing the Zegna organization across Asia Pacific, shared his personal experience and career in China, giving hope and strong motivation to all young participants, saying “The more intrinsic motivation you have, the more you are likely to persist. The more you persist, the more likely you are to succeed.”
“Luxury and Fashion sectors are booming. Market studies and research predict current growth to continue for the next 20 years, and Chinese clients will count for 46% of the global luxury consumption by 2025. Taking into consideration these facts, luxury and fashion companies will be one of the leading providers of job offers to Chinese talents in the field worldwide. You are the future!”, said Ms Yingting Cheng, Chief Operating Officer Mainland China of Istituto Marangoni.

The “China-Italy Young Professional Network (中Y意)“ is a group – within the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce – that represents young professionals and students from different nationalities (up to 30 years old).
