Workplace Safety Regulation Seminar - Post Event

Workplace Safety has always been an important aspect in manufacturing businesses, and with the fatal accident in Kunshan on August 2nd 2014, corporate safety control has increased significantly. 
 

With the great support of the local Foreign Affairs Office and the Suzhou Administration of Work Safety, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce has organized a Workplace Safety Regulation Seminar in Suzhou, with the aim of helping its members to gain more knowledge of the current situation.

Mr. Yu XueYou, Office Director of the Suzhou Administration of Work Safety, after a general overview of the safety regulations in China, has emphasized that “it is very important for foreign companies to implement the Chinese Safety Workplace Law and Regulations, and to ensure that their enterprises comply with the Safety Workplace standards”.

Regulations experts grabbed the attention of an audience of more than 80 companies, providing detailed information and explaining the legal framework of various matter such as employer’s liability and insurance policies.

Overall, the seminar was informative and successful, and we would like to express our gratitude to our special guests: Deputy director of Suzhou New District Work Safety Bureau - Mr. Yuan MingHua, Division Head of Suzhou Municipal Foreign Affairs Office - Mr. Bian Fang , and Section Chief of Suzhou Municipal Foreign Affairs Office- Mr. Tang ZhongHua.
