RECAP | New Energy Quest—Italian Enterprises CND Tour, 15.04

On April 15, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC), in collaboration with Changzhou National Hi-tech District (CND) successfully organized the "New Energy Quest—Italian Enterprises CND Tour" in Changzhou. The event brought together over 60 Italian companies to explore opportunities in China's thriving new energy sector.

Lorenzo Bali, Board Director of CICC, opened the event by emphasizing Changzhou's strategic importance for Italian businesses. "Changzhou's dynamic economy and advanced manufacturing capabilities make it an ideal partner for Italian companies looking to grow in the Chinese market," he stated.

Ms. Phenix Luo, Director of CND's Commerce Bureau, highlighted the district's achievements in green development, including its RMB 100 billion new energy vehicle industry and the launch of innovative decarbonization projects.

Francesca Bonesi, Vice-Coordinator of CICC's MEWG underscored the complementary strengths of Italian and Chinese enterprises. "Italy's expertise in precision engineering and China's manufacturing scale create unique opportunities for collaboration in the new energy sector," she noted. 

The event ended with a visit to BYD's Changzhou factory, where participants witnessed the production of facility. After visiting BYD’s manufacturing facilities, visitors gained insight into China’s advanced manufacturing ecosystem.
