RECAP | MOU Signature with GGCC & Business Community Spring Gala

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) had the honor of being invited to attend the 2025 Guangdong Chinese and Foreign Business Community Spring Gala, held at the Oriental Hotel in Guangzhou, on January 8th, 2025.

Overview

The 2025 Guangdong Chinese and Foreign Business Community Spring Gala was a grand occasion with the theme of “High-level Opening-up, High-quality Development”, which aligning with the ongoing efforts to foster deeper economic and trade exchanges between Guangdong and the international community. Over 1,000 attendees were present, including representatives from various domestic and international business associations.

CICC President Lorenzo Riccardi, South China Board Alessandro Lamantia, and South China Office Manager Romina Di Martino participated in the event, contributing to discussions on how to further strengthen economic cooperation between China and Italy.

The event also marked the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between CICC and the Guangdong General Chamber of Commerce (GGCC), with Alessandro Lamantia, the CICC South China Board, as a representative taking the stage to sign the agreement.

The CICC Chairman Lorenzo Riccardi delivered a speech via video, emphasizing the significance of collaboration between the business communities of Guangdong and Italy, and highlighting the CICC's commitment to facilitating economic exchange and fostering closer ties between China and Italy.
