On 12th November in Guangzhou, Italian President Sergio Mattarella met with representatives of the Italian business community in China. He expressed his gratitude for their contributions and assured them of the Italian Republic's continued support.
China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) was an active part of the event and the Chairman Lorenzo Riccardi delivered an introduction speech on the Italian business ecosystem in China, highlighting the challenges and opportunities and emphasizing the value of the presence of Italian companies and entrepreneurs in the country: 15 billion euros in investments, 33 billion euros in turnover, and 130,000 employees.
This State Visit served not only to reinforce the longstanding partnership between Italy and China but also to strengthen opportunities for collaboration in areas vital to both nations.
