POST EVENT - IPWG WEBINAR: Strategies for IPR enforcement online and offline in China, December 10th, 2018

Dear CICC Members and Friends,

On December 10th, 2018 the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) successfully hosted an interesting webinar on “Effective IPR Enforcement Online & Offline in China” at the CICC Beijng office. 

The webinar, organized by the CICC’s Intellectual Property Working Group (IPWG), was moderated by Ms. Valeria Manunza, IPWG Vice-Coordinator and Manager in the International Business Advisory team at Dezan Shira & Associates, featuring a key-note speech by Mr. Felice Meli, Head of the Anti-Counterfeiting Department at Ferrante Intellectual Property.

The webinar agenda focused on:

• General considerations before entering the Chinese market;
• IP enforcement in China: the basics;
• The effective anti-counterfeiting strategy in China;
• Available Enforcement routes.

The webinar was attended by 20 participants who took this great occasion to investigate about a more and more actual issue for foreign companies doing business in China. Mr. Meli was able to transmit his experience to the other IPWG Members, who much appreciated the presentation.
