Post Event - Bitcoin, Cryptocurrencies & Mitigating The Relevant Investment Risks - Guangzhou, 1st February 2018

Dear CICC Members and Friends,

The seminar “Bitcoin, Cryptocurrencies & Mitigating The Relevant Investment Risks”, hosted by Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners HK and Fidinam HK, was successfully held in Guangzhou on February 1st. 

A special thank goes to Buongiorno Restaurant for offering the Networking Drinks after the seminar, and to AustCham South China for great cooperation in supporting the event.

More than 35 guests from the business community in Guangdong & Hong Kong area attended the event. It has been a great opportunity to be informed about the cryptocurrencies and the relevant investment risks in China and all over the world.

The seminar started with the welcome greetings and the introduction speech of CICC new membership platform by CICC Guangzhou Team.

Following, the speaker Filippo Buzzi from Fidinam HK provided us a general overview of cryptocurrencies (bitcoin & co.), and their related investment risks. Davide De Rosa from Gianni, Origoni, Grippo, Cappelli & Partners HK​ gave us an overview of the cryptocurrencies’ regulatory environment in China and in Hong Kong.

After the speech, during the Q&A session, the guests raised up many questions in an interactive exchange of different points of view with the speakers, which helped to clarify any doubt or curiosity.

After the seminar, the guests had the chance to network and enjoy delicious Italian food in a more informal atmosphere, at Buongiorno Restaurant, which kindly offered the networking drinks.

The event was a great success and the CICC would like to thank all participants who attended the seminar and look forward to seeing you in our next edition.
