Opening of the “Italian Comprehensive Industrial Park” in the Yingkou Comprehensive Bonded Zone

On October 19th, 2020 the “Italian Comprehensive Industrial Park”, led by the Italian company COSMO, was inaugurated in the Yingkou FTZ.  

The “Italian Comprehensive Industrial Park” located in the Yingkou FTZ aims to create a comprehensive processing trade park, to process, pack, assemble, import and export, and distribute Italian products like F&B, cosmetics, clothing, daily-use articles and others. It is estimated that, after the completion of this project, the annual import and export volume will reach $250 million. During the inauguration, guests were invited to visit the first company who settled within the area. The packaging company COSMO will benefit of the Yingkou Comprehensive bonded zone to package the cosmetic of the Italian brand Viridis which will be imported into China. 

Anna Zhao, Cairman of the Board of Directors of the Italian Brand Viridis, said: “The Italian comprehensive industrial park project is officially settled in Yingkou Comprehensive bonded zone and we will share our experience to more Italian enterprises, so that they can benefit of the preferential policies of Yingkou Free Trade Zone"

During the opening ceremony, Valentina Rigoni, CICC Beijing Office Coordinator, was invited to unveil the project’s plaque together with the Yingkou Mayor Xu Guiqing.
