Meeting Time Change Notice: SPWG next meeting, Aerospace & Aviation Industry in China, Shanghai, 22nd November

Dear members,

the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, the SPWG together with Co.Export China invite you to our next meeting on November 22nd at 16:30 (instead of at 18.00, as previously announced) in Shanghai. Our guests Mr. Riccardo Coli (General Manager of Co.Export China) and Mr. Andrea Spiriti (CEO of NEOS) will present the Aerospace & Aviation Industry in China.

China is already the second-largest economy in the world. According to some growth-rate predictions, it’s now within a generation of overtaking the US and becoming number one even if aerospace has long been an American bulwark. In most years Boeing is the nation’s leading exporter. America has more airports, builds more airplanes, trains more pilots, and arranges more of its economy around aviation than any other country, by far. China would very much like a piece of this. The 12th Five-Year Plan lists aerospace as a symbol and target of China’s “high-value” ambition.
