Meeting on Opportunities for Italian Businesses in China, 12 Sep

On September 12th, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC), participated in a meeting titled "Imprese e Mercati: Opportunità e Sfide per il Made in Italy - Focus Cina" (Businesses and Markets: Opportunities and Challenges for Made in Italy - China Focus).

The event featured several Lombardy-based companies and members of AssoLombarda. It was tailored for Italian businesses either active in or interested in the Chinese market, providing insights into business opportunities and a deeper understanding of China's geopolitical landscape.

The session was opened with remarks from H.E. Massimo Ambrossetti, Ambassador of Italy to the People's Republic of China.

Following, CICC Chairman Lorenzo Riccardi delivered a keynote speech, sharing insights on the success stories of Italian companies already established in the Chinese market. Riccardi highlighted the strategic approaches these companies adopted, the economic and cultural challenges they faced, and how they overcame barriers to thrive in China's competitive business environment.

Participants had the opportunity to hear from entrepreneurs who shared their direct experiences in China, discussing both the challenges and potential rewards of entering the Chinese market. They provided practical advice on navigating the economic and cultural complexities, offering valuable lessons on how to approach the Chinese market with a winning strategy.
