“Italian Expats in Asia: Measures for Global Mobility” Seminar- Shanghai 20th March - Suzhou 21st March – Post Event

Dear Members and Friends of CICC,

The “Italian Expats in Asia: Measures for Global Mobility” Seminar organized with Dezan Shira & Associates and ECA Italia took place the 20th of March in Shanghai and the 21th of March in Suzhou.

The seminar aimed to inform about the latest global mobility trends from Italian companies, expat reward and social security planning, and new tax regime.

During the seminar two high profile experts from ECA Italia highlighted important key solutions to assist Italian expats in China. ECA Italia supports their clients on all the issues involved in International Assignment Management: Compensation, Tax, Legal, Social Security, and Immigration.

Mr. Stefano Pacifico, partner ECA Italia with 16 years of continuous advancement and expertise in international mobility, and Martina De Santis, Sales Manager ECA Italia and responsible for training courses, delivered insights regarding tax reliefs for employees coming in Italy which start from the year in which the individuals became Italian tax residents and for the following 4 fiscal years (total of 5), and they provided information on how to proceed in specific cases by giving supporting examples.

The seminar in Shanghai was followed by a networking breakfast, while the event in Suzhou, hosted by Suzhou Village, ended with cocktails.  

Both the Q&A session and the networking part of the event gave great opportunities to the participants to interact with the speakers.
