Is It Time to Rethink Your Business?

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce held the workshop "Agile China: Business restructuring and innovation" on August 29th. 

Lately, China has found itself in the worst outbreak of COVID-19 since the onset of the pandemic. In this context, how can companies respond fast? How can they restructure internal operations and create a more resilient and agile strategy? During the workshop, our speakers addressed these questions providing professional advice and insights to foreign companies operating in the China Market.

Our first speaker Johannes Lazzaro, Senior Associate - China Head of Account Management at Hawksford, focused on how technological innovation can represent an opportunity to navigate this uncertain time. He offered practical examples of the tools available for companies in this transition. 

"Taking the current uncertainty as an opportunity to implement technological innovation across your business is key to minimize disruptions in the short term and ensure organic business growth in the long run".

Our second speaker Mauro Dellisanti, Finance Manager at RsA Asia, discussed how to rethink, relocate and reorganize the business. While deciding whether to undergo relocation or downsizing there are several factors to be considered including tax, fund transfers and contracts to name a few.

"We have just been through a time of deep disruption. It is now time to assess the efficiency and agility of your enterprise in order to move forward and face the future with confidence".

Our speakers also provided solutions for cash flow needs, improving internal communication efficiency and maintaining revenue streams.
