CICC met with CCPIT Anhui on Aug 15th

On the morning of August 15th, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce had the pleasure of welcoming to its Beijing headquarter the delegation of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Anhui.

The delegation led by the Vice Chairman of CCPIT Anhui, Mr. Wu Yong, met with the CICC Vice Secretary General and Beijing Office Manager, Federica Viggiani, and the CICC Beijing Team. 

The primary focus of the discussion centred on enhancing trade relations between businesses from Italy and Anhui Province, a region that has been growing in importance for Italian investment in China as part of the Yangtze River Delta Economic Zone, one of China's most dynamic regions. Anhui has a robust industrial base with sectors such as manufacturing, automotive, and high-tech industries, key-fields for Italian enterprises in China. 

Participants acknowledged the mutual advantages of deeper economic collaboration and expressed a shared commitment to exploring further opportunities for cooperation.

The meeting also featured an overview of the activities and upcoming events organized by the CICC, as well as an introduction to the Anhui region. 

Both parties actively expressed their intention to maintain close communication and to facilitate future business visits, meetings, and other collaborative initiatives.
