On August 31st, 2022, the Suzhou Xiangcheng Investment Promotion Center paid an official visit to the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce office in Suzhou.
Mr Giacomo Bove, CICC Board Member in Suzhou, met with a delegation led by Ms Li Qing, Deputy Director of the Suzhou Xiangcheng Investment Promotion Center.
Established in 2001, Xiangcheng is one of the newest municipal districts in Suzhou and is located at the hinterland of Yangtze River Delta Economic Circle and the centre of Suzhou.
"In recent years, Xiangcheng has been one of the fastest growing areas in Suzhou city. New industrial clusters of digital finance, automobiles and advanced materials have been forming. We are striving to improve our foreign investment environment and sincerely welcome Italian companies to Xiangcheng and start business here." Ms Li Qing said during the meeting.
Mr Giacomo Bove then expressed his will to strengthen communication and cooperation with the Suzhou Xiangcheng Investment Promotion Center, while bringing to the attention of the Chinese counterparts also the difficulties that our companies are experiencing in Suzhou, in the hope to obtain concrete support for the business community located in area.
