CICC Meets with CCPIT Changsha Municipal Committee

In the framework of the series "Italy Meets China", the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) has met today with the Changsha Council for the Promotion of International Trade (Changsha International Chamber of Commerce).

The meeting was the first opportunity to establish direct communications and deepen mutual understanding between the two parties. It was also a good chance to explore business opportunities for our members in China and abroad.

The meeting started with opening remarks by CICC Secretary General, Renzo Isler, followed by CICC Vice President for South China, Raphael Paul Cooper, and Board Members Vinicio Eminenti and Luca Dalla Vecchia.

The CCPIT Changsha delegation was represented by Yu Xiayuan, Party Secretary and President, Chen Ke, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice President, Zhang Sha, Secretary-General of the Chamber of Commerce and Minister of Conference Affairs, Yi Bin, the second-level chief staff member of the International Liaison Exhibition Department, Xiong Rongting, Vice President Unit of Chamber of Commerce. The meeting was also attended by the Hunan Xiangjiang New Area 湖南湘江新区.

The CICC delegation stressed the importance of CICC expansion in Hunan, as well as the creation of more business and matchmaking opportunities in Changsha. It also added that more activities and events will be organized in Changsha in 2023.
