2019 China Social Impact Awards - Applications now open!

Dear Members and dear Friends,

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC), in partnership with the United Nations and the British Chamber of Commerce in China (BritCham China), is proud to announce the launch of the 2019 China Social Impact Awards.

The Awards celebrate the positive impact companies and organisations of all industries and sizes have had on society and the environment in China. 

Following the success of the 2017 CSR Awards, the 2019 China Social Impact Awards aim to further encourage and raise awareness of CSR in China, with an increase in scope to include companies of all nationalities operating in China, which have set up programmes seeking to inspire and create positive change and impact in the society. 

The Awards will culminate in a spectacular Gala Dinner on the 7th of November at China World Hotel. The winner of each award will be announced and invited on stage to receive true recognition for the incredible work they have done making this world a better place.

What are the main goals of the Awards?

Who can enter the Awards?

The awards have been created to help encourage and promote companies corporate social responsibility. We encourage all businesses in China that run social or sustainable programmes impacting China, no matter the nationality of the company.

What are the Award Categories? 

The 2019 China Social Impact Awards aim reflect the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, and will take into account the key motives as to why companies support corporate social responsibility. There are seven categories for companies to enter: 

What is the application and judging process?

A fair, diverse and impartial judicial process is at the heart of the 2019 China Social Impact Awards. The judicial process is audited by a third party to ensure clarity, transparency and integrity.

The China Social Impact Awards are a great platform for businesses of all sizes across all sectors to showcase their social impact work. Success in the China Social Impact Awards brings acclaim to your organisation and raises the profile of your CSR activities in China and beyond.
