CICC Goes Kart Day! - First Pirelli Kart Cup - Sept. 20th, 2008 @ March3 Racing Centre

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce and March 3 Motorsport Centre are glad to invite you, your families and friends to spend an exciting day on track at the "CICC Goes Kart Day! - First Pirelli Kart Cup". This all new leisure event, sponsored by Pirelli Tyre Co., Ltd and That`s Amore Italian restaurant will be held at the prestigious Kart World racing centre right by the Shanghai International Circuit, with the aim of involving the whole family for a fun and action filled day.  

Let`s all leave the office routine and stress behind, let`s get out of town, let`s the speed driver who is in each one of us surface to life for a fun ride*!

Schedule:
08:45              Optional transfer from Shanghai International Exhibition Center (opposite entrance of Ritz Carlton Portman)
10:00              Arrival at SIC Kart World
10:00-10:30    Registration to front desk, introduction of event schedule and driving etiquette
10:30-13:30    Free practice (participants arranged in groups)
                     Qualifying 
                     Final race (top 20 drivers, divided in 2 groups)         
14:15             Return to Shanghai by arranged bus, or otherwise self arranged

And if you are not an experienced driver, don`t worry! March 3 Professional Drivers will provide help and instructions*.

The activity is also open to children not inferior to 8 years of age, under the supervision of their parents*.
A separate racing circuit will be arranged for children competitions.

Pirelli Tyre will offer to the top 3 adult drivers, and to the top 3 junior drivers, exclusive and original prizes, to the delight and self-contempt of the winners!

A souvenir gadget will be offered by Pirelli to all the participants and the attendees of the event, upon Front Desk Registration on the day of the event itself.
The catering is sponsored by Italian restaurant That`s Amore and the Italian Bakery Mollica di Pane.

* upon Front Desk Registration, the drivers shall have to fill in a disclaimer from any damages incurring during the race: March 3 provides a general accident insurance to its clients. For damages inflicted to the cars during the race by the drivers` carelessness, March 3 requires damages to be paid by the driver himself, based on actual evaluation.

* Disclaimer: CICC shall not be deemed responsible in case of any accidents/damages happening to or incurring to or caused by the drivers.

                        Dep. 14:15pm from Kart World, Shanghai International Circuit to downtown

Price:               RMB 250/person for competing Members and related family adults; 
                        RMB 350/person for competing Non-Members adults;
                        RMB 100/person for competing children under age of 12 (only children above age 8 are admitted)
                        RMB 150/person for non competing Members and Non-Members
Including:        Optional bus transfer to and from the circuit, Italian buffet with soft drinks offered by That`s Amore

NOTE: 
à assistance on track will be provided by March 3 Trainers and Professional Drivers
à racing availability is limited (maximum 50 racers)
à participation must be mandatorily confirmed by September 12^th, 12.00pm; for late confirmations, no bus service can be guaranteed
à Subscription fee must be paid in cash to CICC Shanghai office by Sept. 12^th.
