2022 Smart China Expo - Chongqing, August 22nd-24th

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is pleased to inform you that the Smart China Expo 2022 (SCE) will be held both online and offline in Chongqing from August 22nd to 24th 2022. For the occasion, the Consulate General of Italy in Chongqing and the CICC will co-organize an "Italian National Pavilion".

The SCE 2022 is organized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China; the National Development and Reform Commission of China; the Ministry of Science and Technology of P.R.C.; the Cyberspace Administration of China; the Chinese Academy of Sciences; the Chinese Academy of Engineering; the China Association for Science and Technology; the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Singapore and the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government. Sichuan Province will be invited as the Guest Province of Honor.

The SCE 2022 will continue to have as its theme "Smart Technology: Empowering Economy, Enriching Life" and to focus on "Smart Cities". The expo will zoom in on the mutual reinforcement between industrialization and digitalization in the context of national development strategies and industry trends. During the Expo, major activities include but are not limited to the Opening Ceremony and Summit, exhibitions, forums, contests, deliverable presentations, signing ceremonies, and the Closing Ceremony. Moreover, this year’s SCE will review and showcase the achievements of the previous four editions in boosting economic and social progress.

Offline physical exhibition mainly, along with thematic events and online virtual exhibitions
