Call for Tender – China Tax Advisory

Dear Members and Friends,
This Tender is for the provision of Tax Advice and services covering mainly areas related to Value-added taxation in China on EU – CHN cross-border project.

Specifications:
Description of the tasks:
The external project-based China tax advisor shall provide detailed advice based on agreed hourly rates with fee estimates or a fixed fee agreed up front on the following:
1. Understand quickly the objectives of the project, explained in detail by personnel from CICC;
2. Provision of advice on VAT for cross-border taxable services;
3. Provision of advice on tax-exemption application;
4. Ad hoc queries of all tax areas in China;
5. Provide consultations on specific queries made by CICC.

Qualifications and skills:
1. Minimum 15 years of practical experience in China tax advisory;
2. Good understanding of taxation issues related to international organisations in China, such as bilateral chambers of commerce;
3. In-depth understanding of Chinese Taxation Law and the State Administration of Taxation systems of China;
4. Proven record of successful engagement and regular contacts with offices and bureaus of the State Administration of Taxation;
5. Understanding of and experience in EU grants structure are considered as good assets;
6. Proficiency in English is not mandatory but would be an advantage;

Indicative date of implementation:
July 1, 2021 – July 31, 2021 (TBC)

VALIDITY: the quotation should be valid for a period of 30 days from the date of your quotation.

PARTICIPATION TERMS
• Participation in tendering is open to CICC Members and non-Members;
• Companies competing in the tender must have the necessary knowledge and experience and have the technical support and personnel capable to run the tender;
• Each company can submit only one tender;
• The tender is to be drafted in Italian, English or Chinese, filled in and signed;
• It is the responsibility of the tenderer to study the specification and requirements before submitting the tender.
