  The European Trade Centre (ETC), with an area of 100,000 m² and located in the Binhai New Area in Tianjin, aims at helping European SMEs penetrate the Chinese market or expand their business if they are already established in China. ETC offers European SMEs logistic support, government benefits and financial assistance, hence giving them a chance to develop their business in China. European SMEs have the opportunity to establish a joint venture with ETC, set up their own retail / wholesale operation at ETC, or sell their products directly to ETC. Target sectors include food and beverage, fashion, handicrafts, furniture and homeware. SMEs providing a “European lifestyle” service are also welcome to ETC (restaurants, bars, leisure, education and culture).
