POST EVENT: Factory tour at SOFIMA AUTOMOTIVE FILTER (SHANGHAI) CO. LTD, November 27th, 2019

Dear Members and Friends,

The China – Italy Chamber of Commerce is glad to inform that the FACTORY TOUR at SOFIMA AUTOMOTIVE FILTER (SHANGHAI) CO. LTD was successfully held on November 27th, 2019.

The Factory Tour began with a brief presentation and introduction, provided by Mr. Antonio Farese, Coordinator of the Mechanical Engineering Working Group (MEWG), about the Working Group’s meetings held during the year 2019 and the possible activities for 2020.

The following speaker, Alessandro Lamura, Duty Trade Commissioner at Italian trade Agency in Shanghai, took the stage and talked about promotional activities carried out by ITA - ICE for the year 2020 with a focus on the main sectors financed, like e-commerce, Fashion, F&B and mentioned the interest of ITA to support the mechanical sector.

Their speeches were followed by a visit to the factory, during which Mr. Luca Biagini, COO at SOFIMA AUTOMOTIVE FILTER (SHANGHAI) CO. LTD, and Mr. Simone Trazzi, Operations Director APAC at SOFIMA AUTOMOTIVE FILTER (SHANGHAI) CO. LTD, showed and explained to the participants the advanced technologies used by their Company, a leading global innovator of filtration and thermal management systems and synthetic based filtration media.

Then the Tour was closed by the Q&A section, in which the participants have gained a further knowledge on the topic and had the possibility to exchange their experiences and mingle of ideas, information and suggestion about how to improve the mutual business.
