Dear Members and Friends,
The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce is glad to announce the opening of the ticket sales for “Notte Italiana”, CICC's annual dinner, which will be held on November 24th at Park Hyatt Beijing.
For the third year, the event will be part of the 3rd Week of Italian Cuisine in the World (III Settimana della Cucina Italiana nel Mondo), which will be held from November 19th to November 25th and aimed at promoting the unique traits of the Made-in-Italy culinary tradition.
For this important occasion, CICC is glad to host Cristina Bowerman as guest chef for the evening.
Cristina Bowerman, one of the few Italian women chef awarded a Michelin star (in 2010), managed to conquer a wide audience of locals and internationals proposing a highly original cuisine, resulting from the different experiences - personal and professional – she made abroad. In 2004 she returned to Rome using the refined techniques she acquired working with leading restaurants around the world, adapted through her own personal twist.
The result is provocative and unsettling food combinations, able to give a feeling of global and local, modernity and tradition at the same time. Chef Bowerman’s kitchen is representative of the innovative feeling intrinsic to this year’s event. Please click here to read her full bio.
