On April 9th, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce held the seminar “TF – Traceability and Fashion” at theMICAMshanghai, the International Footware and Leather Goods Exhibition organized by the Italian Footware Manufacturers’ Association (ANCI), Fiera Milano and HMFS.
Traceability and Fashion is a voluntary certification created by Unionfiliere and promoted by Unioncamere and the network of Italian Chambers of Commerce Abroad. TF aims at certifying and increasing the value of the products of the “Made in Italy” supply chain.
The presentation by Giulia Iemmolo, from the Sustainability Unit, Pirola Pennuto Zei & Associati, stressed “transparency” as a main asset for Italian SMEs to increase consumer’s trust, diversify the products in the Chinese marketplace and foster relationship with local stakeholders and was followed by a detailed introduction to the contents of the TF certification by CICC. At the end, the experience of Consorzio Fermano Export was shared with participants.
