Second edition of `MADE IN CARDATO CONTEST`

Dear Members, Dear Friends, 

the China Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is pleased to announce the second edition of `Made in Cardato Contest`. The contest, sponsored by the Prato Chamber of Commerce, invites young creatives worldwide to develop new uses for products under the Cardato Regenerated CO2 neutral brand.

After the great success of the past year, dedicated to Fashion and product Design, this second edition is made richer by the addition of a section on image and video in order to highlight the importance of communication of the brand. The `Made in Cardato Contest` wants to turn attention to the textiles with the brand Cardato Regenerated CO2 neutral and invites creatives young people to imagine new applications for the textile product in its various forms (fibre, yarn and fabric) and new ways to tell the story of this product that is both traditional and yet very current. 

Young creatives aged 18-30 may apply, worldwide. Entry is free via the website www.cardato.it and opens July 2. Projects must be uploaded by October 15. For further information please download the Competition Rules.

The contest is promoted by the Camera di Commercio di Prato (Chamber of Commerce of Prato) with the collaboration of the Consorzio per la valorizzazione e tutela dei prodotti tessili cardati (Consortium for the promotion and the protection of Cardato textiles) and with the organizational help of the Museo del Tessuto (Prato Textile Museum).
