On November 15th, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce met with Vice Mayor Sima Hong in Beijing. The meeting was attended by representatives from the Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and sectorial commissions together with representatives of the foreign Chambers in China.
Among the major topics addressed were the facilitation of access to foreign talents, visa policies, support to strategic industries, and cross-border data transfer, among others.
During the meeting, our Vice Secretary General, Federica Viggiani, confirmed CICC commitment to work with the Municipality to further facilitate the presence of Italian companies and brands in Beijing.
The Municipality highlighted the continuous efforts to encourage a stronger presence of foreign companies in Beijing together with the support of foreign chambers and organizations.
