RECAP | Opening Ceremony of Ognibene Power, Nov 25th

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce is pleased to have participated in the Opening Ceremony of the new Ognibene Power Plant in Jiaxing, held on the morning of November 25, 2024. This event marks a significant milestone not only for Ognibene but also for strengthening relations between Italy and China.

The ceremony was attended by:

- Tiziana D'Angelo, Consul General of Italy in Shanghai;

- Alessandra Palumbo, Commercial Consul of Italy in Shanghai;

- Lorenzo Balì, CICC Board Member in East China (Suzhou);

- Shen Wenping, General Manager of the City's Foreign Affairs Office.

The New Ognibene Power Plant, located in the Jiaxing Economic Development Zone, represents a significant investment. Its main products include hydraulic cylinders and steering systems. The facility is expected to make a substantial contribution to the local economy, with projected annual sales reaching 250 million yuan.

Mr. Claudio Ognibene, President and CEO of the Ognibene Group, expressed strong confidence in the future of this investment. He emphasized the company’s intention to develop the site into a comprehensive production base that integrates manufacturing, engineering, and services. This project underscores Ognibene’s ongoing commitment to innovation and collaboration in China.
