POST EVENT - Return flight of Italian entrepreneurs to China_July 31st, 2020

Dear Members and Friends of the CCIC,

Yesterday, Thursday, July 30 at 18:00, the charter flight (MXP) dedicated to the return of 271 managers, Italian entrepreneurs and their families departed from Malpensa Airport The flight landed today at Tianjin Binhai International Airport (TSN).

The return operation was organized by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China (CCIC) in cooperation with the Italian Embassy in the R.P.C., by the Italian diplomatic-consulate network in China with the support of the Italian company NEOS.

The operation began in May with the implementation of a census by the CCIC to probe the needs of Italian entrepreneurs about their return to China. It went on, thanks to the collaboration with the institutions involved and the airline, to organize a package of services including daily assistance, air flight and supplementation of the COVID-19 test.  A first flight was organized on 2 July, bringing 150 Italian citizens back to China.

After arriving at Tianjin airport, the compatriots were welcomed by representatives of the Italian Embassy in the R.P.C. and the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China in the hotel where they will pass the mandatory 14 days of quarantine.
