Post Event - Quality Council Supply Chain and Textile Meeting

Dear Members and Friends, 

On April 24th, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) Shanghai Office organized the first Quality Council's meeting for its under group Supply Chain and Textile.

More than fifteen companies attended the offline meeting, while three participants connected online from China and Italy. Companies joint forced to synthesize competences of the sector, in order to catch the opportunity that the Chinese market presented, in importing fabrics, yarns, machineries, and to meet the increasing demand of quality products. 

The meeting opened by Mr.Giulio Balossi, General Manager at Albachiara, who emphasized the importance of uniting supply chain and textile companies to face the challenge and solve the issues as a whole in China market. Then Mr. Mauro Maggioni, CEO of Golden Goose,  gave an overview about  the Quality Council. 

Each participant, a representative of upstream companies, made a brief presentation of their company and their role in the fashion system. Following by an informative discussion with a focus on the industry's current situation and potential collaborations.  

The day was the occasion to unite Italian upstream producers, trade companies, manufacturers of textile in China, which is one of the iconic symbols of Italian products all over the world: it's tradition, quality, and attention to details. 
The event has remarked the strong connection of supply chain and textile sector, through collaboration to promote the quality and Italian excellence.
