POST EVENT: CICC Logistic Working Group Open Meeting Webinar, 28th February 2020

Dear Members and Friends,

China-Italy Chamber of Commerce is glad to inform you that the webinar on the “CICC Logistic Working Group Open Meeting Webinar” was successfully held on Friday, February 28th.

Among the several webinars the CICC has been organizing lately in order to support Italian business community in China in the efforts to fight against the novel coronavirus COVID-19, this informative session focused on the Logistics and Transportation Industry. The Members of the CICC Logistics Working Group had the opportunity to deepen all the aspects related on how to deal with transports, logistics, customs operations, import&export difficulties, policies and case studies.

The meeting was moderated by Romina Di Martino, CICC Guangzhou Office Manager, and featured the following topics and speakers:

• "COVID-19: Air Cargo Capacity", by Mario Tasso, Head of Contract Logistics at JAS Forwarding (China) and CICC Logistics Working Group Coordinator.

• "Domestic transportation recovery: updated situation", by Marco Leporati, Managing Director of Savino Del Bene (Shanghai).​

• "Seafreight updates", by Jonathan Ortelli, China Deputy General Manager at Senator International Freight Forwarding (Shanghai). Mr. Tasso presented this third part instead of Mr Ortelli, due to his absence for working related issues.​

The webinar was followed by a Q&A session, during which participants had the opportunity to address their questions to the speakers.
