The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce is glad to inform you that the CICC Innovation & Technology Working Group Webinar Series: "Forum On Blockchain Technology, Minimal Blockchain and Business Applications" was successfully held online on Friday July 16th, 2021.

The webinar introduced the blockchain technology, focusing on one of the main preconditions in creating a working blockchain: immutability. The Forum talked mainly on three points:

  • Immutability – how to obtain it in a blockchain;
  • Requirements – the minima hardware and software required to be resilient to attacks;
  • Application – protecting internal data of customers and proprietary information.

After the welcome speech and brief introduction on the CICC Innovation & Technology Working Group by Mr. Gianluca Giorgi, I&TWG Coordinator and CEO of ES Automation Consulting Ltd, Prof. Denis Bastieri of University of Padova gave a detailed introduction on the blockchain technology. After that, Mr. Gianluca Giorgi presented his case study on products traceability, following by the case study on human capital management, introduced by Ms. Rosanna Terminio, Managing Partner of AsecorpChina Business Consulting. Then Mr. Stefano Catozzi, Co-Founder of DYNAMIGS GROUP, shared his case study on real estate.
