On Sunday September 6th, was held the opening ceremony of the Italian Embassy Nursery and Primary and School of Beijing.
The ceremony was attended by the Italian Ambassador, Ettore Francesco Sequi, the Chairman of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, Franco Cutrupia, chinese authorities and the Italian community living in Beijing. Greetings were addressed by the Mayor of Reggio Emilia, Luca Vecchi, and the President of Reggio Children, Carla Rinaldi.
Special thanks to Assaggi, Aurora, Eatalia, Factory and Pizza + for their contribution to the buffet and to all those who took part and shared this day of celebration.
On Monday September 7th the School opened its doors! At this time, the school as a mixed age class (pre-school and kindergarten) and a primary class (1st grade).
