Lazio Region & Beijing Municipality: agreement to strenghen the touristic cooperation between Rome and Beijing

The agreement signed by Lazio Region and Beijing Municipality aims to strengthen the touristic cooperation between Rome and Beijing. The purpose of the agreement was explained during the conference held at the Italian Insitute of Culture at the presence of Lazio Region Tourism Councilor Claudio Mancini, Vice General Director - Marketing and Communication Department of China National Tourism Administration Ms. Wang Yan, Italian Ambassador H.E. Riccardo Sessa and the Chinese writer Mr. Mo Yan, author of a documentary filmed in Rome, as starting step of the Sino-Italian collaboration.
The agreement focuses on the development of new strategies in order to increase the tourists flow between Italy and China, mainly between Rome and Beijing. The activities expected in the future will be based on a series of promotional and advertisement campaigns through different channels, such as TV spots, newspapers, etc.
