Italian Hospitality 2019

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce is glad to inform you about the result of "Italian Hospitality, Italian Restaurants in the World" project. After careful selection, 50 Italian restaurants located in different cities in China (Beijing, Chengdu, Chongqing, Dongguan, Guangzhou, Haining, Hangzhou, Sanya, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Suzhou, Tianjin, Wenzhou, Wuxi, Yongkang ​) received the "Italian Hospitality" certification, a guarantee of the usage of authentic and hight quality Italian products.

During the inspection, the awarding committee took into consideration the following criteria:

• Identity and distinctness;
• Hospitality;
• Mise en place;
• Cooking;
• Menu;
• Gastronomic offer;
• Wine list;
• Use of extra-virgin olive oil;
• Experience and competence;
• Use of PDO and PGI products.

Award ceremonies

The authentic restaurants were awarded the "Italian Hospitality, Italians Restaurants in the World” certificate, prize and plate to exhibit.

The award ceremonies took place during CICC’s main events during 2019: 

• Beijing, during the "Authentic Italian Table" event
• Chongqing, during "2019 Italian Hospitality Awarding" event
• Guangzhou, during "CICC Christmas Dinner Guangzhou" event
• Shanghai, during "Italian Hospitality 2019 Awarding Ceremony" event
