Italian Design Icons 2019 - South West China, Chongqing

The long awaited return of Italian Design Icons to South-West China will commence from June 14th-16th for a Special Edition in the emerging mega-city of Chongqing’s famous TestBed 2 Art District. Experience Italian beauty, creativity and design in all it's splendor in the mountain metropolis, over the course of an exclusive 3-day exhibition of Italy's most iconic brands, where technology meets design for sustainability and environment.

IDI-Italian Design Icons originated from an idea of DP Group and is planned and organized by Eastant Communication & Events with a history spanning three editions of the event already hosted in Shanghai over the past few years as well as a special South West Edition last year in Chengdu, Italian Design Icons now comes to showcase luxury Italian brands in Chongqing.

A splendid collection of acclaimed top Italian brands, which have undoubtedly impacted the design of countless products from west to east and the lifestyle of millions around the world, IDI Italian Design Icons aims to celebrate the excellence of Italian design, embrace the sustainability of this new trend, and bring forward & share knowledge from various industries. This year, selected brands from lighting to furniture, vehicles to transportation, auxiliary equipment to industrial automation wish to showcase how our icons of industry can utilize design to address technology and where it meets design for sustainability & environment.

Throughout the three days of exhibitions & lectures delivered by top Italian architects, designers, professors and key opinion leaders from exhibiting brands & experts there will also be as be press conferences, containing interviews conducted by some of the most famous local media outlets and foreign media partners, and a VIP cocktail party.
