Italian Business Community Tour to Jiaxing Nanhu 2024, Mar 22

Dear Members and Friends,

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is pleased to share that on March 22nd it was held the 2024 Italian Business Community Tour to Jiaxing Nanhu, in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province. This event came to life thanks to the collaboration with Jiaxing Nanhu High-tech Industrial Park and Plainvim International. The participants were over 30, coming from different industrial sectors.

This initiative allowed participants to get in touch with local companies and potential new business partners.

Jiaxing Nanhu High-Tech Zone (Jiaxing Science City), which was founded in 2003, is designated as a national demonstration base of "mass entrepreneurship and Innovation". Additionally, it won first place in the provincial evaluation of high-tech zones for 4 consecutive years and has been ranked among the top five provincial high-tech zones for 3 consecutive years.

Before knowing more about the Jiaxing Nanhu High-Tech Zone, Emilio Cassanelli, CICC Board Member & VP China Operations RGS China, introduced the CICC  activities to the audience.

Afterwards, thanks to the first promotional speech by Yang Lingzhu, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of Nanhu High-tech Industrial Park, and Jin Yizhe, Deputy Director of the Economic Development Bureau of Jiaxing Nanhu High-tech Industrial Park, and the subsequent tour of the exhibition centre, the audience got a better understanding of the location and the business opportunities that can arise between the Italian community and the city of Jiaxing.

As representatives of local companies, Zhengrong Zhang, General Manager of Euro-Misi High Tech, and Valerio Fang, General Manager of Cebi Electromechanics, also had the opportunity to to present further information about their companies during the morning conference.

The Industrial Park hosts different companies, and the visitors had the chance to see closely the operations of three of them: Eurogroup Laminations, Field International and Cebi

• CEBI Since 1976, Cebi Group has been manufacturing electromechanical products for the automotive and household appliance industries.
