Event Recap | Week of Italian Cuisine in the World 2022 - South China

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is glad to inform you that the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World 2022 (Settimana della Cucina nel Mondo 2022) was held on November 14th-20th, in compliance with pandemic containment measures.

With the theme “Conviviality, Sustainability and Innovation: the ingredients of Italian cuisine for people's health and the protection of the planet", the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World is a project coordinated by the Consulate General of Italy in Guangzhou and organized with the support of the Italian Trade Agency, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, and the Academy of Italian Cuisine.

In the framework of the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World 2022, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC)​ reports the following activities: 

 

 

 

FOOD & WINE MAP - JOURNEY TO SOUTH CHINA

25 Italian Restaurants in South China took part in the Food and Wine Map project by making authentic Italian dishes with DOP/IGP ingredients paired with DOC/DOCG wine specially for the Week of the Italian Cuisine. Italian food lovers are welcome to check out the Food and Wine Map - Journey to South China and visit the listed restaurants to experience the true Italian taste. 

 

 

ITALIAN F&B TOUR - FOSHAN

 

The Italian Food and Beverage Tour was held in Florentia Village, Foshan on November 19th-20th. 11 importers and distributors showcased local Italian products and delicacies, with strong ties with the Italian territory.
