The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) successfully held the event "Italy Meets China - Wuxi Focus: 2024 CICC-Xishan Business Tour" on May 28th, 2024. This seminar aimed to promote close cooperation and exchanges between Italian companies and Wuxi Xishan District, foster dialogue and economic and trade cooperation, and build bridges of communication between businesses.
The event kicked off with a warm welcome from Ms. Wang Jiyan, Deputy Director of the Management Office of Cuipingshan Tourism Resort and Director of the Investment Promotion Bureau of the Xidong New Town Business District Management Committee, delivered her speech.
After the opening remarks, Mr. Davide Angelibusi, Board Director of CICC, representing the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce. He expressed gratitude to Xishan for their hospitality and emphasized Wuxi's increasing significance for the Italian community and businesses.
The event was also graced by the presence of Mr. Gao Dagang, Deputy Director of Wuxi Xishan District Commerce Bureau and Director of Xishan District Investment Promotion Service Center. The introduction of Wuxi Xishan District followed, showcasing the region's vibrant business environment and investment opportunities.
In recognition of the collaborative efforts, the CICC awarded the "Friend of CICC" to Wuxi Xishan Investment Promotion Service Center.
The event also included presentations by representatives from a few invited companies. Yadea Group Holdings Ltd. and Ar-Tex Sealing Solutions Wuxi Co., Ltd provided brief introductions to their operations and their impact on both local and international markets.
Subsequent to the presentations, attendees partook in an enlightening factory tour, immersing themselves in the state-of-the-art facilities of Yadea Group Holdings Ltd.,Ar-Tex Sealing Solutions Wuxi Co., Ltd., and Lincotek (Wuxi) Co., Ltd. These tours afforded a comprehensive glimpse into the innovative processes and advanced technologies employed by these esteemed companies.
The CICC extends its heartfelt appreciation to the Wuxi Xishan Investment Promotion Service Center. We would also like to thank Yadea Group Holdings Ltd., Ar-Tex Sealing Solutions Wuxi Co., Ltd., and Lincotek (Wuxi) Co., Ltd. for providing the opportunity for factory visits. We express gratitude to all attendees for their participation and enthusiasm, and eagerly anticipate our next encounter. We hope the CICC-Xishan Business Trip will foster vibrant collaboration between Italian companies and Xishan District, setting the stage for future business endeavors and mutual advancement.
