EU Framework Programme for Research FP7: New round of research calls for proposals - transport related calls

Dear Members,

The China - Italy Chamber of Commerce is glad to inform you taht new calls for proposals under Europe’s Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development, FP7 have been published, with deadlines for submission from autumn 2011.


Nearly €7 billion will be available for joint research projects covering a vast range of scientific disciplines, public policy areas, and commercial sectors.
The calls include those in the FP7 ‘Cooperation’ programme support research in areas such as health, ICT, transport, energy, environment, food, agriculture, fisheries and biotechnology, material and social sciences, etc.

In most cases, proposals must include at least three different EU member states or FP7 associated countries to be eligible.


As a general rule, Chinese teams may join European consortia in addition to this requirement. Specific topics may also target Chinese participation.
